ATTENTION: Parents Of Neurodivergent, Strong-Willed Or Sensitive Children Aged 4–8

Are You Worried That Criticism, Exclusion, or Struggles at Home or School Are Impacting Your Child's Self-Esteem?

There’s a critical window before age 7 when your child’s core beliefs are being wired for life.

Most schools don’t teach kids the truth of who they really are. But stories and personalized letters from a thought-busting superhero can! They are the most powerful (and awesome) ways of helping children develop unshakeable self-esteem.

What others have said
(about letters from Hairy Thought-Buster)

I LOVE the entire concept of Superhero Hairy Thought-Buster and “The Truth Of You” Fluffies!

The creator, Michelle Lowbeer’s use of cute visual imagery coupled with a fun and engaging narrative in a letter format is a powerful way to help build positive self-esteem beliefs in children.

It is also a timely reminder that the way parents and care-givers of young children interact with them has an enormous impact on what they begin to believe about themselves.

Anne Layton

Mother, educator, psychologist

This is an amazing gift! Each month the grandchildren receive a beautiful, thoughtful and personalised letter which lights them up.

The age appropriate letters have stories and inspirational messages, with themes such as “you are powerful” and “you’re never alone”.

I would definitely recommend the Hairy Thought Buster for gifts for Christmas.

Well worth the investment!

Louise Murphy

Grandmother, mental health educator

This is absolutely beautifully written and just perfect for her. Thank you so much.

I hope you keep doing this long term.

After all, sometimes we could all use our own super hero cheering us on and reminding us just how special we are.

Hi, I'm

Michelle Lowbeer

I'm a vibrant, playful creative who loves dancing like no-one’s watching, running in nature, and making children laugh (adults too, for that matter)! I live in sunny Sydney, Australia, with my husband, our two beautiful teenage daughters, and our cat, Koala.

My journey has been anything but conventional. I’m a children’s book author, poet, entrepreneur, Biodanza facilitator, and personal development enthusiast. Before finding my creative calling, I studied psychology for two years, then pivoted to commerce, becoming an accountant and financial planner. Life took me to Singapore for four years as a ‘dependent spouse’. It was there, during a simple school drop-off, that the idea for Hairy Thought-Buster was born, setting me on a mission to help children challenge their negative thoughts and build empowering beliefs!

Our Mission

Our mission is to comfort and empower children to know their worth, challenge their negative thoughts and feel deeply loved — through magical letters, children’s books, animated adventures and an AI Superhero buddy who sees their brilliance!
